Das Werkstatt

Well, well. After ages we spent the night at my gf's place again, so i decided to patch her computer up, since it was like, 2 months sitting there without being used.

But hell, right when i booted the box up and went to windowsupdate.Microsoft.com, and in the middle of the update of Norton AV, too, it suddenly started to behave weird.

OF COURSE it got infected with the blaster virus, friggin 10 seconds after i went online to grab the patches and fix the machine.... AAARGH!

Thanks god that at least the Symantec Removal Tool worked... *sigh*. Usually i say that people who get viruses --- dont have a clue, or its mostly their fault at all. It barely could happen we get a Virus in "Das Werkstatt" (tho, it did happen, but virii have a very short lifetime down here). But the bad luck is pissing me off. 10 seconds online, right while patching, this fucker attacked my gf's box. AAARGH.

Guess its time for me to build her a firewall and a mailfilter, eh.

Gahh that sucks.. I remember my dads network getting infected with the blaster worm and our phone didnt stop ringing:/ Whoever writes these things should be nail gunned to the wall by their testicles/tits

Viruses suck!!

I still think only people less intelligent than me get viruses.. and you're right, it IS your own fault
