Ingredients
a 4256 gram tin of pitted black cherries in syrup (do not try to go healthy on me... must be in syrup)
2 cups of self raising flour
1/3 cup of cocoa powder
1/3 cup of caster sugar
60 grams of melted butter
1 cup of dark chocolate
1/2 cup of choc hazlenut spread
1 egg, beaten
a 200 ml tub of black cherry yoghurt
Method
Grease muffin pan
Drain cherries, keep about 1/2 cup of the syrup (see? told you not to go healthy on me)
Sift flour & cocoa
Stir in the castor sugar
Add the cherries, saved syrup, butter, choc bits, spread, egg & yoghurt
Spoon into the muffin tray (mixture should make 12 muffins)
Cook for 20 mins at 190 degrees celsius
Let cool for approx. 5 mins before removing them from the trays & dusting with a little extra cocoa
