Groove: suddenly asks for proxy password

Post by ^rooker »

[PROBLEM]
All of a sudden - out of nowhere - and never seen before, Groove (yuck!) started asking me for some login credentials for an HTTP proxy. WTF?

It popped up a small dialog-window:
Groove: Enter Network Password for HTTP Proxy

User ID:
Password:
Domain:

Save this password?
After hitting the "cancel button", I got this warning:
Groove needs your network password to communicate through your network's proxy gateway. If you continue without entering a password Groove may not work as expected.
Are you sure you want to continue?

Yes No
Since I don't trust anything coming from Groove, I will not enter any information there.... But it's very strange.
