[PROBLEM]
With a fresh new Debian Squeeze (testing) installation of ffado, I ran into the following, uncomfortable error message, when trying to setup my Terratec Phase88 RACK firewire device:
Error (terratec_device.cpp)[ 56] discover: The firmware of this Phase88 device is too old. Please update the firmware.
Error (devicemanager.cpp)[ 632] discover: could not discover device
Jumping out of an airplane is not a basic instinct. Neither is breathing underwater. But put the two together and you're traveling through space!
