Samba as PDC

Here's small list of problems we've encountered while trying to setup Samba (3.0.9) as a primary domain controller:


[PROBLEM]

We've followed the Samba PDC mini-HowTo, and when we tried to join the domain (client was w2k), we got the following error (sorry, but that happened on a german w2k):
"Es konnte jedoch kein Konto für den Computer auf der Domäne XXX ermittelt werden."
Additionally, other computers were not even able to join that domain, because the client said it could not find it at all - BUT when accessing the linux machine from explorer, authentication worked fine.


[SOLUTION]
We simply forgot to restart the nmbd - which is responsible for naming resolution.
