Tobit can't send/receive mails.
PROBLEM:
The Tobit DvISE System cannot send/receive e-mails, because it receives timeouts from the mailserver(s), although the mailservers themselves can be contacted and polled from the rest of the system without problems.
- Assumption: The Tobit services are binding to a wrong interface, thus sending packets with an IP-address possibly unknown to the www interface (Router) which prevents the answers from coming back.
SOLUTION:
Check if the system on which the DvISE services are running has several interfaces. If possible, disable all "wrong" interfaces, restart the DvISE services and then restart the interfaces.

When trying to install the Tobit Infocenter client, it exits after the first few installation questions. To make this really interesting, it exits abnormally with the simple windows-error-message:
"The program has caused an error and will be shut down"
[SOLUTION]
Check if you've created too many users and thus are exceeding your license limit. If so: Fix it and installation will work fine.
