Infrared-heating: thermostat wireless channel collision

[PROBLEM]
The company "InfraEnergie" has infrared heating panels that are remote-controlled by a wireless thermostat.
In my case, I had a channel collision between 2 thermostats:
2 thermostats were controlling the same panel.

[SOLUTION]
Each panel has a wireless radio receiver unit on its back.
That receiver unit can be paired with a thermostat. It seems that one receiver can listen to more than just 1 thermostat.

In my case, the receiver unit has been previously paired with another thermostat, so re-pairing it with the correct one didn't solve the problem.

It is therefore necessary to reset the receiving unit before pairing again.

1) Reset receiver:
Press-and-hold the button on the receiver unit for at least 30 seconds.
Make sure that all (!) thermostat units are off before doing this.

Press-and-hold receiver button, you should now see the following LED blinking pattern on the receiver:
(Receiver LED is off. Thermostat is off)
  • 3s: LED blinking
  • 10s: LED stops blinking. Stays OFF.
  • 30s: LED starts blinking again - but faster this time.
  • Release the button: LED goes OFF.
2) Pair again with right thermostat:
  • Press-and-hold receiver button again.
  • After 3s, the LED starts blinking again (normal speed).
Now, perform the following steps on the thermostat unit:
(Thermostat is OFF)
  • Press-and-hold "+" button for 4 seconds.
  • Now the thermostat displays "CnF"
  • Now, press the "+" button until the LED on the receiver unit goes OFF.
Now, that panel should only listen to the one thermostat that you've now paired it with.
Repeat the same steps on other panels affected by channel collision.
