Steam Client on Ubuntu 16.04 Desktop - window too small

[Problem]
I started my steam client and for whatever reason it was reduced to a very small window with no access to the "maximize" icon. I could not enter settings or anything else to change the window size, so steam became practically useless.
[Solution]
Check your home directory for the steam config, make a backup of the config file, then delete it and restart steam.
My config was located in:
I had two files there:
As it's only settings I just deleted the files (make sure steam is not running at this point). You probably want to copy them somewhere first, then delete them. Restart steam - everything should be back to default, including the window size.
