Raspberry Pi & omxplayer: Incompatible VCHIQ library

[PROBLEM]
omxplayer on Raspberry Pi was working fine, until
I've updated omxplayer on Raspbian to the latest version in the repositories (0.2.6~git20130427~fcfb7911).

Now it refuses to start, giving me the following error message:
vchiq_lib: Incompatible VCHIQ library - driver version 2 (min 2), library version 6 (min 3)
* failed to open vchiq instance
[SOLUTION]
According to a post on raspberry forums, it should be solved by a reboot.

Can't confirm that yet, because I can't reboot the server at the moment...
Will keep you updated.
Jumping out of an airplane is not a basic instinct. Neither is breathing underwater. But put the two together and you're traveling through space!
