smoviecat and symbolic links

Post by ^rooker »

[PROBLEM]
"Simple Movie Catalog" (smoviecat) seems to treat symlinked folders as files, instead of following them :(

[SOLUTION]
Supply a trailing slash "/" at the end of the target folder to index.
For example, if your videos are in "/media/videos", replace this string in the configfile with "/media/videos/".

Then smoviecat will play along with symlinks fine :)
Jumping out of an airplane is not a basic instinct. Neither is breathing underwater. But put the two together and you're traveling through space!
