The company "InfraEnergie" has infrared heating panels that are remote-controlled by a wireless thermostat.
In my case, I had a channel collision between 2 thermostats:
2 thermostats were controlling the same panel.
[SOLUTION]
Each panel has a wireless radio receiver unit on its back.
That receiver unit can be paired with a thermostat. It seems that one receiver can listen to more than just 1 thermostat.
In my case, the receiver unit has been previously paired with another thermostat, so re-pairing it with the correct one didn't solve the problem.
It is therefore necessary to reset the receiving unit before pairing again.
1) Reset receiver:
Press-and-hold the button on the receiver unit for at least 30 seconds.
Make sure that all (!) thermostat units are off before doing this.
Press-and-hold receiver button, you should now see the following LED blinking pattern on the receiver:
(Receiver LED is off. Thermostat is off)
- 3s: LED blinking
- 10s: LED stops blinking. Stays OFF.
- 30s: LED starts blinking again - but faster this time.
- Release the button: LED goes OFF.
- Press-and-hold receiver button again.
- After 3s, the LED starts blinking again (normal speed).
(Thermostat is OFF)
- Press-and-hold "+" button for 4 seconds.
- Now the thermostat displays "CnF"
- Now, press the "+" button until the LED on the receiver unit goes OFF.
Repeat the same steps on other panels affected by channel collision.
