VirtualDub: Displays different colors when playing

[PROBLEM]
VirtualDub displayed colors in a YUV 4:2:2 captured video incorrectly while playback, but correctly when stopped.
Playing the video with different players (e.g. VLC) displayed the colors correctly.

[SOLUTION]
Options > Preferences > Main > Quick preview defaults:
"Output color depth" is by default set to "fastest (16-bit)".

Changing the output color depth to e.g. "Match display depth" caused the colors to be displayed correctly.
Jumping out of an airplane is not a basic instinct. Neither is breathing underwater. But put the two together and you're traveling through space!
